JOFY stamps and Fresco paints

Paperartsy recently released some new JOFY stamps which I have a real addiction to!
So I got playing with Fresco paints and a couple of Neon colours I have and made these using a technique taught to me by Emma Godfrey.

The blooms and Butterfly were stamped onto another painted sheet and cut out - I hate leaving things flat.

And one with the previous release too.

These came from 2 x A4 sheets of cardstock - colours below.

But I hated to waste the leftovers so made a few little cards as below.
The flowers on some of these were made with Infusions and Fresco Metallic Glaze.

My trusty white gel pen was used too.

These are the main colours I used.

Valentine for the Inspirers

Shhh, don't tell! I realised it's Valentine's Day tomorrow and I'd not made the husband a card!

Crafter's Companion to the rescue with these fabulous Sheena Douglass Groovin' 60's stencils!

The card is only 4 3/4" square but its the thought that counts :)
I've used the Groovy Flower Power stencil as it has a lovely heart design on it, both on the main design and also as a background too - along with some of the flowers.
I've also used Circles of your mind which has the most delicious bubbly design.
Sheena's white card was the base, matted with black card and coloured with a variety of Distress inks.
A few highlights with a white gel pen and black fineliner to finish.

Sew Simple - 4th February

Photo heavy post here!
These are some of the samples and cards demonstrated at Sew Simple last Saturday.
I had a lovely time (despite Robert having given me his cold!) and hope all the lovely ladies that came along enjoyed the day as much as I did.
The shop owner and staff were brilliant - Thanks :)

I was lucky to be able to demonstrate the new Create a card - Edge'able dies, Catitudes stamps and dies, Sheena's Groovin' 60's stencils and stamps plus Spectrum Aqua pens!

Fab table area where I could display my samples.

Even did a bit of journalling!

Crafter'sInspiration 13 - part II

My latest project is a 12x12" layout using Crafter's Inspiration 13

All of the papers were printed from the CD using printable light card which has a lovely smooth finish. The base is white Core'dinations, Neutrals.

I cut out the floral border and added it under my photos. My journalling & title were printed onto another piece of patterned paper and torn out.

Lastly I added some little embellishments using the free stamp set.

Crafter's Inspiration 13

My latest project for Crafter's Companion Inspirers uses the delicious goodies that come with Crafter's Inspiration 13.

My card is 8x8" with the front folded diagonally, it's covered with papers from the CD that's included printed onto Printable light card which is currently on offer.

The butterflies were made using the deep die petals which I have embossed using the dotty folder that comes in the pack too. The smallest one was perfect for the body. I shaped the wings and raised them using Collall 3d glue gel.

The sentiment is also on the CD and is cut with the tag die that comes with the Gemini.
All of the petals were cut in one pass - 4 layers of  300gsm Centura Pearl!

Magical jar and matching card

My latest samples for Crafter's Companion were made using the Xyron Creative Station.
It's fabulous for laying a film of adhesive to all manor of things from delicate tissue paper to buttons and gems.

Most things (apart from those with dimension) were added to these using it.

I used an old sweetie jar and added the elements all round - Tim Holtz tissue paper, Sara's Autumn Morning fence panels, lace etc.

The inside was packed with pink tissue paper wrapped with led lights.

Thanks for taking a peek.
