Everyday Cut-in dies

I've been kept very busy lately making for the Crafter's Companion shows on Hochanda!
Here are some samples I made with the everyday cut-ins recently.
These are so versatile as you can cut the intricate design into the card or use the outside edge to cut a complete image.

Hope you like them

Here's a card I made recently for Mark and Helen on the arrival of their daughter Lucy.

I love making these patchwork designs with a photograph and bunting for new babies.

Book for Abigail

Catching up with my blogging!
Following on from the Homework Diary I made for Rowan recently, I decorated a book for his sister too.

This one was made with Fresco Paints & JOFY stamps from Paperartsy, these are from Jo's new collection which "fell" into my basket on release day!

The background was created using layers of paint applied with a credit card, the flowers and umbrella tree were coloured with Distress Pens then cut out and stuck on along with the little girl.
Lots of gems and a white gel pen were added and a "splat" stamp around the border - also Paperartsy.

This is the back of the book featuring more of the blooms.

I'm pleased to say she loved it.

More to come but can't share yet.................

Crafter's Companion take you back to school

Time for the children to go back to school soon, so here's a bright little book to send them off with a cheer from Crafter's Companion.

It's just a lined notebook @ 14mm square which I have covered with Sara's Signature - Just for Men papers. These 6x6 papers are fabulously vibrant.
The letters are from The Diamond Press Block Aphabet.

Inside the front cover, I added a pocket for notes and a couple of bookmarks using dies from The Diamond Press Starter Kit. It's a fabulous machine, great for cutting small dies and very portable too.

The inside back page holds a pop-up pencil which I covered with the papers to co-ordinate and some post-it notes from my desk.

The back is also covered with bright papers.

A quick and easy make which there is still time to do!

Thanks for taking a look
