I Name Thee....

Busy day for me today...My brother and family are coming tomorrow for a BBQ (today now) and I realised that I had not finised the album I am making for them! This LO is a combination of BG Bittersweet and Wisteria papers. I felt they worked well together. I cut and punched the edges of one pattern the cut around elements of the other so that the photos would sit underneath. I used the "gutted" paper to punch some flowers for extra embellishment and added journalling down one edge.

Balloon Crazy!!!

BG Lime Rickey was paper of choice here.
Strips of Tutti Frutti were stuck onto white bazzill card. Balloons and large circle from Sarsaparilla. Megan had come to visit in March and enjoyed playing with Lianne's birthday balloon.

Megan's 1st Christmas

BG Mistletoe and Pear papers were the inspiration for this LO. I loved the way the colours co-ordinated with the photos.
I cut elements out from several different sheets and added 3d foam to some for dimension.
Glitter and glossy accents added to the flower centres and berries gave some sparkle and texture. The letters are from MM felt Alpha.

Muffins

Today I baked Muffins :)
I used the CWC muffin card as a template to cut the basic shape then cut extra layers to mount on top. The cupcake case was made by running paper though a ribbler. I added the lemon frosting to the chocolate muffin and chocolate frosting to the vanilla muffin. Candy Dots and brown tulip fabric paint used for decoration.

Forever Friends - Love and Romance

Todays cards were made from the 6x6 size Forever Friends - Love and Romance - pad.
I cut out and decoupaged the images and added embellishments.

I really loved the way this one looked, I added some flowers made from the SU scalloped circle punch and mounted it on an 8x8 card which are currently my favourite size.

A productive day.....

I used the pieces leftover from yesterdays pages to create these two cards.

I mounted the patterned paper onto the red and then added a strip of the aqua and then another of the pattern.
Finised with a scalloped message circle.

The paper below was again mounted onto red
to which I added a flourish and a message

I used the leftover circle from the horseshoe card and attached it to an orange 8x8 card.

I punched out flowers from a pearlescent CWC paper pad and randomly attached around the circle. The punched centres had the words Happy Birthday added with rub-ons.

I stamped an acetate CWC butterfly with Stazon and glittered areas, added candy dots for the body.

The last part of this scallop reminded me of a cradle so:

I used the same pearlescent paper as a background to a square card. A leftover strip from the Susie dotty paper was folded to make a lacy edge which I attached a thin ribbon to. I used the SU scallop circle to make a hood and stamped a baby face behind it. A few small daisies were added to finish with some glitter.

And finally.....

This is my version of a bib card I saw at the Stamp show at worthing.

I cut a circle from the matching dotty paper (Richies collection) chalked the edges and cut a "neck" hole, punched holes with my cropodile. Threaded with ribbon I attached to an 8x8 pale blue card and stuck the ribbon ends under a message cut from the leftovers from the scrap. I used my QK train set to cut an engine and some carriages from cream card and edged with blue. I used the holes from the wheels to make a smoke trail. The neckline was finished with candy dots.

Family Connections

As part of an album I'm creating for my brother and sister in law, I made this DLO of their daughter with her baby and brother on one side and their parents on the other. It was made with the May Scrapaholix kit which was a lesson on using co-ordinating patterned paper by My Minds Eye called Laundry Line & coredinations papers. I punched out smaller circles for the left hand side and larger for the right which I mounted onto a scalloped punchout by SU. The flourishes and letters were cut with my silhouette and my fave candy dots were used to embellish.

This is a DLO that I created using BG Bittersweet papers for my daughters 18th. I added some flowers from my stash to complete.
This LO was based on a pagemap.

Here are a few.....

Christening Libby

My BF Denise asked me to make a christening card for her Granddaughter Libby. I used QK shapes to create a gown from pearlescent paper embossed with a Cuttlebug folder.

I added a pink bow and some flowers with candy dot centres.

Wedding Horseshoe

I cut a horseshoe shape from a scalloped circle, chalked the edges, then used my cropadile to punch holes at each scallop which I threaded with peach satin ribbon.
I knotted the ribbon and tidied the ends then tied a bow over the knot. I added a cream scalloped oval then retro flowers from the Richie collection in peach and green with a congratulations message. I cut further small retro flowers from the peach dot sheet and added candy dots to the centre.
I wired an antennae for the butterfly and attached with 3d foam. Random Candy dots to finish.
It could be used as above but I mounted it onto an 8x8 card covered with a delicate pistachio paper from the CWC Richie collection.

Masquerade Masques

Completed this card today as a special request. They are going to a ball in June and wanted a Thank-You card.

My brief was an A4 card in Black and Gold with Masquerade Masques on it.

I covered the A4 card with a cream/gold foiled paper then matted/layered with gold mirri card and cream pearlescent.

The Masques were cut with my Silhouette in black and Gold cards.

I fastened ribbon to the lower Golden masque and added black chiffon behind the eye holes, added candy dots, a black flourish and Tiara Glitter Glue

The upper masque has a gold flourish and back feathers and is designed to be hand held.

Message as requested.

Retro Flower Bouquet

I used the leftover wedges from the fan card to create the wrap for this bouquet of flowers. Flowers were punched from pearlescent paper which matches the chequerboard background then circles added for the centres.

Fan Card

I cut scalloped edge circle into wedges, run it though a cuttlebug embossing folder and joined them with a brad alternating embossed/debossed. I edged it with the Tiara stickle and used crystal in the debossed areas.

Mounted onto an 8x8 covered with a sheet from the a sheet from Cratfwork Cards Suzie collection edged with a punched border. Added a retro flower from the same collection centred with a gold mirror circle and smaller retro daisies centred with Candy dots which I also added randomly.

Best Wishes message added in scalloped circle to finish.

Waiting for the Special Delivery......

This LO is using the latest Basic Grey papers from the Wisteria collection.
Chosen to match the colours in her top, I cut a rectangle of the patterned paper and then cut-out the centre around the flowers. The scraps were used to decorate the edges on 3d foam.
A strip of co-ordinating paper was used as a focus along the lower edge.
A touch of glitter glue in the flower centres adds a little bit of bling.
The smaller image was just mounted onto the same floral paper.
An element sticker from the same collected provided space for journalling.
