And Desk Ted came too!

Desk Ted came along to Eastbourne to assist at the Cardinal Colours retreat too.
On the Thursday evening we went to the Tin Mine for dinner and below you can see him with Jill and a J2O.

No Desk Ted, it doesn't need salt!

Helping Lynn drink her wine!

Choosing his dinner...

And Lemon Frangipane Tart!!!!

And more wine - from the bottle Ted???

Assisting with Anita's Canvas Class.

And our Sepia card class...

Helping Liz (and wearing her glasses!)

The photo looks dark but the lighting was perfect?

Assisting Ann and Linda in our Lauderdale class.

And Scrappy Sarah....

And Tina...

At lunch on the last day, Ted you look like you're having a good time - but surely not more food?

Well there are a couple of theories. As a child I was always threatened with being sent to the Treacle Mine if I misbhaved. The nicer explanation is from the toffee at the Sweet Factory, Angears, does anyone remember them?, that was in the village for years. More commonly it is because of the sewage works just outside Polegate near a place called Polly Arch, where the railway runs across the bridge.

The Treacle Mines of Polegate are really quite famous - we have one of the ventilation shafts next to our garage!!

I missed seeing the famous desk ted at the retreat - must have been too busy crafting!!
